The Argentine migratory field, its specificity and the theoretical-methodological approach of the sector
Abstract
Se presentará una breve síntesis de la configuración del campo migratorio en Buenos Aires cuya dinámica incluye a instituciones y agentes productores de conocimientos y saberes técnicos de utilidad en las demandas sociales. En este análisis, la cuestión de género y su abordaje presentan limitaciones teóricas y metodológicas para comprensión integral de los movimientos migratorios como procesos sociales complejos.
It will be presented a brief summary of the configuration of the migration field in Buenos Aires, whose dynamic includes institutions and knowledge-producing agents and technical knowledges useful in social demands. In this analysis, the gender matter and its approach presents theoretical and methodological limitations to the fully understanding of migration as social complex processes.
